In June 2018, a motion was filed to form multidistrict litigation over the Zimmer M/L Taper Hip cases. It is very likely that the Judicial Panel on Multidistrict Litigation will decide at a hearing on 9/27/18 whether the Zimmer M/L Taper Hip cases will be an MDL. At this point it is not a sure thing because hearing schedule has not yet been scheduled.
